The bank’s Vavuniya branch enhances library facilities in 2 local schools
Upholding its reputation as an understanding bank, Pan Asia Bank Vavuniya branch completed a CSR initiative to improve library facilities at V/Poovarasankulam M.V & V/Muruganoor Saratha Vidyalayam in Vavuniya.
Under this initiative, steel cupboards and books were donated to the respective school libraries in order to create a conducive environment for students to embrace habit of reading. The steel cupboards and books for the libraries of both schools in Vavuniya were handed over at a formal ceremony which witnessed the eager participation of the students, school staff and staff of the Pan Asia Bank Vavuniya branch.
Pan Asia Bank as a part of island wide CSR initiative for 2019, has identified several schools in remote areas with poor facilities and infrastructure with a view to lending a hand to improve such schools.
